The Palms Paradise in South Beach

Around the beginning of May, I had the good fortune to attend a reception at the Palms South Beach just north of all the hustle and bustle of South Beach – but still within walking distance. What an amazingly charming hotel!

It was like walking back into the 1930’s, with the personal service of a boutique hotel, the barefoot sophistication of a tropical estate and the business amenities of a luxury conference hotel.

As I stood on the outdoor veranda, Martini in hand, palm trees rustling from the steady warm breeze blowing off the Atlantic Ocean all I could think of was paradise. The parrots in the middle of the grounds were a nice touch as well.

Everything at The Palms has that quality of old world sophistication. Even thought the hotel is totally renovated – you’d think you were transformed back to an era where classy was still something only the rich and famous could experience. The tropical setting and attention to design detail makes you think of an old Hollywood movie.

Each of the hotel’s 242 rooms feature uninterrupted views of the ocean, tropical gardens or Miami Beach.

The grounds are an endless offering of resort pleasures, including a tropical pool area with direct beach access and the waves of the Atlantic.

Guests can dine indoors or outdoors at our one of their charming restaurants.

There can hardly be a more perfect location for an elegant, tropical event than the grounds and interiors of this fabulous property. Check out this magical local at The Palms South Beach.
